Danielle Steel-boka følger same oppskrift som tidlegare: Gutt møter jente, dei forelsker seg, dei finner ut at dei er ikkje kompatible, slår opp, men finner tilbake til kvarandre til slutt. Ganske basic, men likevel har Danielle Steel millionvis med lesere over heile verda. Så kvifor les eg dei? Enkelt svar: Nokon dager trenger ein bøker der ein ikkje trenger å tenke, og lukkeleg slutt er nødvendig til tider. Ok tidtrøyte!

Karen Kingsbury har skrevet bøker i årevis. Eg oppdaga henne for to år sidan, og har lest samtlige bøker om Baxter-familien, og nå om Bailey Flanigan. Loving er siste bok i serien om Bailey (som forøvrig er løselig basert på Kingsburys eiga dotter) og eg har venta på denne boka sidan desember. Det som er genialt med Kindle er at du kan forhåndskjøpe upubliserte bøker, også får du ein mail den dagen boka blir levert til Kindle'n. Veldig greit. Eg hadde eit lite håp om ein anna brudgom for Bailey, så litt skuffa. Nå skal eg ha ein lang Kingsbury-pause (med mindre dama skriver videre om Baxter eller Flanigan) for eg er ganske lei av Kingsburys univers.

Sarah Blake har ein roman på samvittigheten frå før, men eg hadde aldri høyrt om ho før Hvis du får dette brevet dumpa ner i postkassen frå Pantagruel i desember. Då andre bokbloggere begynte å lese denne, fant eg ut at for å gjer meg opp ei meining så må eg faktisk lese boka. Som sagt, så gjort! Sanninga er at den kunne godt stått og godgjort seg litt lenger i bokhylla. Eg er ikkje overbegeistra. Historien var grei, men den skifta fokus så ofte at eg kom aldri innpå karakterene. Eg har ikkje behov for å kjøpe denne i ferdig form.

Nora Roberts er ei av mine yndlingsforfattere, og denne boka kunne absolutt fått ein eigen omtale. Sanninga er at eg planla det, men neste bok kjem ikkje ut før i mai og siste bok sannsynligvis på hausten ein gong. Når eg har lest alle 3 bøkene, så skal eg laga ein skikkelig omtale. Då eg leste boka som eg fant tilfeldig på Amazon, var eg litt sur på meg sjølv for eg hadde absolutt ikkje tid til 3 Nora Roberts-bøker der og då. Så oppdaga eg at neste bok ikkje har komt ut, og vart litt usikker på om eg var glad eller lei meg. Kom til slutt fram til at eg kan vera glad, og har nok ein gong forhåndsbestillt ei bok til Kindle'n. Nora Roberts følger som regel ei oppskrift ho og (som Danielle Steel), men eg syns Roberts er flinkare til å variere mellom handling, sted, rik/fattig, og diverse andre ting. Spennande og litt creepy bok (ei av hovudpersonane blir forfulgt), og siste del av boka vart lest midt på natta for eg kunne ikkje legge den frå meg. Bra bok, og gleder meg til fortsettelsen.

Tredje bok i Bailey Flanigan-serien har vore etterlengta, og eg som heier på Cody og ønsker av heile mitt hjarte at Cody og Bailey skal finna saman igjen, er litt irritert på begge to. Eg håper i det lengste at bok 4 som kjem i mars gjer som eg vil, men viss ikkje så får eg nyta denne serien som den er. Koselig og kjapp bok!

Denne boka vart egentlig lest for halvanna veke sidan, men som den gode Karen Kingsbury- og serieleseren eg er, så kunne eg ikkje legge ut omtale av denne boka før eg hadde lest Above the Line-serien. Eg oppdagte nemlig ETTER at eg var ferdig med denne boka at eg mangla ein serie som skulle vera mellom Daggry-serien og Bailey Flanigan-serien. Det har dermed vore ei lang halvanna veke medan eg har lest 4 bøker i rask rekkefølge, fordi denne boka, Leaving, var kjempefin, og veide veldig godt opp for at Above the Line-serien var litt dårlig.

Bailey Flanigan er klar for nye utfordringer etter suksessen i filmen Unlocked, og søker igjen til Broadway. I mellomtiden er forholdet mellom ho og Cody Coleman på retrett igjen, men begge har innsett ein ting: Dei er hjelpelaust forelska i den andre. Korleis vil det gå med Baileys flytting til New York og Codys nye trenerjobb, og kva med resten av Flanigan- og Baxter-familien? NB. Ikkje oversatt til norsk.

Fjerde og siste bok i Above the Line-serien, og eg likte godt denne boka. Likte ikkje heilt avslutninga, men det kjem fire nye bøker og dei ser eg virkelig fram til. NB. Boka er ikkje oversatt til norsk, men kjem nok snart.

Tredje bok i Above the Line-serien, og eg likte denne mykje betre enn dei to foregåande. I denne har Kingsbury klart å flette saman historiane på ein mykje betre måte. Filmskaperne har og komt meir inn på resten av Bloomington-innbyggerne og det gjer boka mykje betre for min del. Eg skummer ennå ein del, men eg gleder meg over forholdet mellom Bailey og Cody.

Dette er andre bok i Above the Line-serien, og eg kjede meg ihjel. Kingsbury skriver om for mange historier på ei gang, og det irritere meg. Eg vil aller helst lese om Bailey og Cody og skippe derfor store deler av boka, men historien til Keith og Chase er ikkje engasjerende i det heile.

Dette er første bok i Above the line-serien, og den handler først og fremst om filmprodusentane Chase og Keith og deira turbulente vei mot å laga filmverda eit bedre sted å vera. Me får og treffa Andi, dottera til Keith, Bailey Flanigan og resten av Flanigan-familien. Bailey, Andi, Tim Reed (frå tidlegare Baxter-bøker) og Cody Coleman har begynt på Indiana University og det er spennande med musikaler, teater og filminnspilling innimellom studiene. Eg elsker å lesa vidare om Bailey og Cody og Baxter-familien, men resten syns eg er kjedelig. Det er ikkje så spennande å lesa om filmlaging som det er å sjå filmen.
