It's Monday! What are you reading? - nr. 4

Has it really been 7 days since I wrote this last time? I can't really believe it, but my calendar says so. It has been an incredible slow reading week, I can't seem to find joy, no I have joy, but the time and effort to read, and I continue to switch between books and authors.

Books I read last week:
Xue Xinran - Hidden Voices
Arto Paasilinna - Den ulende mølleren (I'm not sure if this book is published in English...checking...yes, The Howling Miller:)

Books I reviewed last week:
Both of the above.

Books I read now:
Merice Briffa - The White Hare
Charles Dickens - A Tale of Two Cities
J.R.R. Tolkien - LOTR - The Fellowship of the Ring - audiobook

Books I plan to read this week:
I've been to the library today, and borrowed the 3 last books of the Sunset-series, so I hope I can finish Karen Kingsburys Baxter-saga this week.

What are you planning to read?

XOXO

  2. You're reading a lot at the same time, aren't you? I sometimes do, but at the moment I've only one book going, The Traveler by John Twelve Hawks. A sort of fantasy, not my normal choice, but I do enjoy it so far.

I read The Howling Miller but found it just so-so, a little boring. But I loved Paasilinna's The Suicide Trip. That was hilarious!

  4. I enjoyed Fellowship of the Ring. I bet that is a great audio book. I haven't read A Tale of Two Cities for so many years that it would probably seem completely new to me now.

  5. Jennifer: The same to you:)
leeswammes: Usually yes, because I get bored easily and need to change between books and authors.
Sheila: Tolkien is awesome in audio, I'm listening to it in Norwegian and the man who is reading is fantastic:)
Violet: Great audiobook. You should totally read A Tale of Two Cities again.

Thank you all for your comments!
