This week has gone by fast, but then slow again. I ended up taking a sick-day on Friday, which was not cool, but I am better today and will show up for work and be with my beautiful children:) I will as always post my blogpost on Bookjourney!
Books I read last week:
J.R.R. Tolkien - The Fellowship of the Ring (audio in Norwegian)
Karen Kingsbury - Summer (in Norwegian)
Karen Kingsbury - Someday (in Norwegian)
Karen Kingsbury - Sunset (in Norwegian)
I never came around to picking up Rebecca Miller's "The Secret Lives of Pippa Lee", so not a lot of booklistening this week.
Books I reviewed last week:
All of the above.
Books I read now:
I never actually started reading Jack London's "White Fang", but today I started reading Thomas Mann's "Buddenbrooks". Later today or later in the week, I am picking up new books at the library:)
Books I plan to read this week:
I am curious to read J.M. Coetzee's "Boyhood" and "Youth" and they are waiting for me at the library. I am also picking up Tolkien's "Two Towers" (audiobook in Norwegian) and "Marekors" (audiobook in Norwegian). The last book is written by a Norwegian crime author, Jo Nesbo. He is getting quite famous in the world, and was close to winning an award in New York earlier this year. I am not sure if this book is translated into English, but I know that other books by him are. This is Nesbo's 5th book about his hero, Harry Hole.
What are you planning to read this week?
XOXO
Coetzee skriver veldig godt, du kan glede deg Boyhood. Youth var også god, men den imponerte ikke like mye. Nå er jeg spent på den siste =)
SvarSlettTolkien er alltid en hit. The Two Towers og The Return of the King er enda bedre enn den første delen =)
Eg har tenkt på Coetzee-bøkene si "Sommer" kom ut på norsk, så nå er det på tide:)
SvarSlettEg har sett filmane og kan dei ut og inn, men det var ingenting samanlikna med boka:-O
Okay, I hope you can read this...lol!
SvarSlettI haven't read the book, The Secret Lives of Pippa Lee, but recently enjoyed the movie.
Here's what I'm reading:

Oh how fun to read those book s in Norwegion - I would live to get my hands on books in other languages. I have several of the Potter books in Spanish..... love that!
SvarSlettSheila: I have read the first and the last Potter-book in English, but are planning to read the others also in English. Love that language!
