It's Monday again, and my little holiday is over. It's been a good week, but not as much reading as I would've thought. It's a new week with new possibilities:-)
Books I read last week:
- Thomas Mann - Buddenbrooks
- Jane Austen - Lady Susan
- Åsa Larsson - Solstorm - audio (crime novel written by a Swedish author)
- Charlaine Harris - Dead as a Doornail - 4th book in The Southern Vampire Mysteries-series
Books I finished last week:
- Charlaine Harris - Dead as a Doornail
+ a short story by Irène Némirovsky
Books I read now:
- Thomas Mann - Buddenbrooks
- Jane Austen - Lady Susan
- Åsa Larsson - Solstorm
Books I plan to read:
- Charlaine Harris - Definitely Dead
- Rick Riordan - Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth
My main priority is Buddenbrooks because of the reading circle. I'm currently reading 50-70 pages a day, because I force my self to, otherwise I will never finish in time.
What are you planning to read?
XOXO
Good luck with all the reading. I'm in a read-a-long of 2666, a book by Roberto Bolano, and that slows down my reading a bit. I haven't read Buddenbrooks but I can imagine it's a bit like that, big and not a fast read.
SvarSlettI just picked up and audio of Charlene Harris so now I can maybe see what all the hype is about :) Have a great week!
SvarSlettI hope you enjoy your reading this week!
SvarSlettleeswammes: I have to finish Buddenbrooks before April 3rd, and to have a chance of finishing, I have set a limit of at least 50 pages a day and so far it's working. I have currently read around 250 pages and now the story fascinates me:-P
SvarSlettSheila: I'm currently on book six, but book five which I finished yesterday, really entertained me:-)
Julie: Thank you!
